2012 Emmy Awards: Results

No award wins for the Game Of Thrones actors this year. BUT... Lena Headey... Holy Wow!!! 'nough said!

After receiving two nominations this year, Game Of Thrones went home empty handed from the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, which aired on Sunday Sept. 23, 2012.
The awards breakdown:

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama
Aaron Paul, Breaking Bad (WINNER)
*Peter Dinklage won it in 2011.

Outstanding Drama Series
Homeland (WINNER)
*Game Of Thrones was also nominated in 2011 but Mad Men won.


Game Of Thrones did clean-up at the Creative Arts Emmys, which was held on Sept. 15. The show was nominated for 12 awards and won 6, more than any other program.

Outstanding Costumes For A Series - 2012
Outstanding Makeup For A Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic) - 2012
Outstanding Special Visual Effects - 2012

Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour) - 2012


Last year, the 2011 Emmys, Game Of Thrones won a total of two awards; Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Peter Dinklage & Outstanding Main Title Design.
