2012 is shaping up to be a busy year for Lena. 'Game Of Thrones' will premiere April 1st. And the movie 'Dredd' is scheduled for a September release.
On the horizon are two other movies Lena is confirmed to star in. 'Vigilandia' co-stars Ethan Hawke and is scheduled to begin shooting on February 13th. No word on the plot yet but they are calling it a sci-fi thriller. Let's hope it's good.
Next up is 'The Unseen' set to shoot in late spring with a release date in 2013. This is the plot description: After the death of their son Joel, Gemma (Lena Headey) is struck by terrifying attacks of blindness and her husband Will starts to hear him. New friend Paul suggests the couple escape to his lighthouse retreat. It sounds ideal. But Paul has other plans. Sounds creepy but good...
Not yet confirmed is 'Mariah Mundi & the Midas Box'. The plot description: Mariah is about a 15-year-old boy, Mariah Mundi, whose world is torn apart by the disappearance of his parents, then the kidnapping of his younger brother by unknown assailants. Lena is in negotiations to play a witch-seductress alongside Sam Neill's villain character. Also in the movie will be Michael Sheen playing a Indiana Jones-ish adventurer. Hmm, kiddie movie? But if Lena is in it, I'm game!
