Home for a spit. Moving house then starting on thrones.
Life is grand. My kid is healthy and my work is bountiful and challenging.

If you haven't been following the conversation... Here's the gist of it:
One of her 'sweet bookers' posted the comment guessing that Lena bought the Easter Bunny glasses that she's wearing in the pictured posted on her Twitter page from the store, Target.
(*check out the picture in question in the post titled 'Lena Twitpics' from April 10th, 2012)
Another person posted in the comment section that Lena should have a contest and let her fans post their favorite photo of Lena. Then she (Lena) could pick the winner and use it as her Twitter profile photo.
The last bit about not abandoning her 'sweet bookers'...
Someone else posted, "Don't forget us on FB. UR way 2 funny 2 B restricted 2 140 characters!!! ; )"

I just want to say that I am so sorry I am unable to make it to Throne Con. Things are far too tight to make it work. As Sean said we have tried everything possible and it's impossible.
For those of you going. I guarantee you will have a blast. Sean throws a fabulous con and every single one of our cast is wonderful. You will delight in whomever you meet. That is a Lannister promise.
We appreciate throne fans above and beyond.

What is Throne Con?
THRONE CON is a 3 day celebration of the TV series GAME OF THRONES, and other fantasy shows. It is being held on 16-18 March 2012 at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham, UK.

ComicCon is held on July 12-15, 2012 (Preview Night the 11th) at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.

And No Fate: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Convention that was to take place on May 11-13, 2012 at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California was cancelled by the organizers in January.

Ok.. I'm late I know... Clearly my resolution for punctuality and organization is already on the list again for next year... So. A very prosperous and healthy 2012 (I seem to remember buck rogers mentioning 2012 way back when 2012 seemed like the craziest space age notion i ever heard) to you good fellas.. Don't the last few years feel to have been full of change and challenge..? Don't they??!.... No? Just me then..
Well. 2012 WILL be a faboosh year for all of us. Home (the uk) was a festive delight. My mum cooked up a storm and I ate the storm with relish. I devoured so much cheap and wonderful sugary chocolate that I felt sick but happy. My dad is S L O W L Y getting used to the iPad. It was nice to wear a sweater and boots and a coat.. I love me some layering. I don't wanna moan about constant sun.. BUT.. SOMETIMES IT'S REALLY BLOODY DULL.. Sometimes a windy rainy day is a all you want.. To curl up in front of the tv and hear rain thundering on the roof... Told ya.. It's the simple things.

Jet lagged but eating so much home cooked food.. So all things in balance.
I gave gifts to folk from the great organisation PLAN USA. It supports children and women All over the world to make safe, independent and educated lives for themselves.
I was dreaming of White Christmas.. Indeed let's go so far as to day that I had edited a complete short film of us sledging down snowy Yorkshire slopes as soft White flakes catch in our woollen hats... The reality is.. It's SUNNY.. IN YORKSHIRE.. AT CHRISTMAS... I could weep but I won't.. I shall instead be thankful for health and family.
Radio 4 is on and my ma is cooking up another dinner for tonight. ..I wonder if you all fall back into parent/ child familiarity when you visit home.
Wylie has been up from midnight till two am with more energy than a thunder cat (a cartoon superhero cat in vibrant lycra, for those of you who are under 40)... Ah hem.... ( I am still a Wee bit under )
SO to conclude.

Turkeys abound..
We will be at our delightful pals tucking into a delish spread and giving thanks for family and friends and health and jobs and of course I will secretly being giving fickle thanks for shoes..
I LOVED the rain yesterday.. Although LA is seemingly frightened of it.. Shops shut and the streets are empty.. Wylie loved splashing and I had to stop him from licking the ground (beagle influence)..
Apart from that. No news (was that news)..
Finished work. Having a chill. Writing and peeing when I want without it being announced over 20 walky talkies.. Ahhhh the small stuff makes me happy folks.

I am in Belfast. Needless to say I am making use of all warm clothing. It actually rained INSIDE the other day.. Only in Ireland!!!
Fly back to LA on Friday... Home for 8 days then back to Belfast for my last week.. Then DONE.. Boom... Just like that.. Season two is nearly over.
I am pondering on what Wylie should be for trick or treat.. I'm sure he would like to go as a truck.. Don't know if I possess that kinda sewing skill.

Currently in Dubrovnik. Very beautiful.
Filming a rather large scene and I never thought I would be spending my 38th birthday shuffling along a crowded footpath whilst wearing a blonde wig and corset...back to London tomorrow where I shall celebrate in a rather more conventional fashion.
Then LA where I shall squeeze and worship the bejeezus out of a small blonde chap.

I'm pulling for Peter Dinklage to win for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. The awards show airs live Sunday, Sept. 18Th on Fox.

Sorry lack of communication.. Home for a blink and quite as little sleep.. Wylie seemingly producing vampire canines ..

Off to the Emmys on Sunday and I have to say these things are not really my bag .. BUT I have borrowed the dress of my dreams (think I may have mentioned) .. Anyhoo it arrived yesterday and I have tried it on 900 times .. Its a piece of art and I am one lucky momma ...

Off to do a quick rewrite .. Borrowing computer (borrowing a lot right now it seems) .. I left mine in Belfast and ran for the plane.

Re thrones : its so exciting .. All the storylines all the new cast.. I am thrilled with the development of Cersei .. The crazy is surfacing ..

Hope ya'll are having great weekends.

I am going to Mr Thomas Dekker's tomorrow.. To watch Angels Crest which I am slightly dreading (only for the weeping which will no doubt ensue) .. Also proud as punch of my beautiful pal..

Folks.. Believe it or not have been without Internet access for 3
weeks.. Also my computer has grown a lump in it's keyboard..
Nuff said..

I am writing on my phone pressed up against the mac stores
exterior wall.

Filming is going great.. Lots of fun scenes.. Lots of interesting
new characters.. Wish I could say more but the results of that
are too frightening.. Belfast is raining and then scorching and
then raining and high winds combo.. This is all in a day of course..
Fish and chips here though are f&$;ing DELICIOUS..my Hollywood
lifestyle has never really happened.. Even in hollywood.. Oops..

I am off to the Emmys !!! Most of the cast is going so should be a
hoot and of course our lovely Pete Dinklage is nominated... Found
a wonderful dress.. Grace kelly meets tim burton.. I can't do shiny
and booby and glossy.. Am VERY excited to frock up

Anything Amy Pohler, tina fey, Kristen Wigg, Will Arnett say or do or told me to do (I should be so lucky) .. I would do .. Without question... SO ..Imagine my joy when I read that Will Arnett let's his kid watch dora the explorer whilst eating ( watching tv seems to guarantee that peak food intake is reached... Thus ensuing a long and restful night for all) .. I'm just saying that there are things you think you'll never do or say ... Until you are in a position to really experience it .. So big up to Dora the explorer ... Olivia and the wonder pets ... You make mealtimes a little easier ...

I'm off to bed having read the comedy issue of GQ ... Thankyou Will Arnett ... For who knew that besides being married to and being yourself a comedic gem .. You would share your parental taboos and make us all (me) feel better ..
